Jonathan was a wonderful host who went out of his way to help, and his homemade breakfast treats were terrific. Breakfast was excellent even gluten free: lovely yoghurt, daily fruit salad, homemade jams, fresh orange juice, and great coffee. On my last morning of four nights, I mentioned I preferred savory food, and he brought cheeses without being asked. His coconut and lime muffins were something else! Meridia has so many thoughtful touches: filtered water in the room each day, Nespresso, loose leaf tea, slippers, a robe, maps, timetables, reading by the pool, and candles waiting on the stairs when we returned late. The villa has been beautifully renovated, with a lovely garden and five star bed and breakfast service. It felt like a mix of Four Seasons comfort and the coziness of a longtime friend's home. The location is brilliant, a 5-7 minute walk to the center and 15 minutes to the arena. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in wonderful Nimes. Heartily recommended!

The host was brilliant, and the room was excellent. The villa is just a five minute walk from the center. We had a lovely two night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Breakfast under the old linden tree was very good, and we felt right at home. The room was spacious, the bathroom immaculate, and the furnishings had clearly been chosen with care. The villa is tastefully decorated, blending old and new beautifully. In summer, the wonderful garden and pool are essential in the heat. Villa Meridia is ideally placed within walking distance of the town center and Roman monuments. There is gated parking directly across the street. We highly recommend staying here.

The pool was a lovely break after hours of walking, and the owner was so charming. We stayed in the terrace room for a long weekend and loved those gorgeous sunrises. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and homemade pastries. It’s wonderfully quiet while still being near the Maison Carrée, Tour Magne, and Old Nîmes. A real peaceful hideaway right in the heart of Nîmes. 20/20! 👍
