The Swedish couple who own the Chateau were friendly and happy to chat about anything. We booked dinner too, and it was delicious. The rooms are all furnished differently, and some have great views, including one with a balcony. Such a beautiful spot, we can only recommend a stay.

The owners were so kind, it felt like meeting friends. La Motte isn't a luxury castle, but it's beautiful and peaceful, with a special, good energy. As soon as we stepped inside, we felt at home, like we'd left the world outside and entered a magic bubble. We were sad to leave, but we'll definitely be back.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and we loved the pool and the grounds. Breakfast was tasty, and the homemade dinner was delicious. Our rooms were nicely decorated too. We had an excellent stay at Chateau de la Motte and would recommend it. Thank you so much, Liliane and Henrik! Colette & Richard, Oliver, Alice and Gregory

The castle, its grounds, and the surrounding area are beautiful. Our hosts at Chateau de la Motte were so welcoming and hospitable, and we had a lovely two-night stay.

The two keepers of the place love history and making guests feel welcome. It's a special place to enjoy, and the chateau has kept its caché and beauty.
