We had a very good two-night stay using a Wonderbox, with no trouble booking. There’s plenty of free parking in the gîte lot or even along the cul-de-sac. The hosts were both really friendly and shared lots of interesting stories. The setting is lovely and well placed for visiting many nearby places. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the room had everything we needed. The floors, sheets, and bathroom were clean. The room could use some updating, especially the dated shower room. We’d gladly return, since we didn’t have time to see all the surrounding area. Thanks for the warm welcome.

We had all sorts of problems during a five-day stay in March, and the host never acknowledged them. I can’t recommend this place. I had to take a cold shower, but was told that was the tenants’ fault for using too much water. There was no internet, we got just one rental towel and one bath towel per day for two people, the cleanliness needs serious work, and the refrigerator was in awful condition. The host accepted compensation, but I never received it. First they blamed the post office, then, three weeks later, said it was my fault for mispronouncing my last name when booking. They claim there was compensation, but that’s absolutely a lie. Wonderbox confirmed that the accommodation provider reported one three-day box when we had actually supplied two three-day boxes, and they’re now handling our complaint. I’m speaking up for people who might not dare to. Customers can’t just be treated any way they like. When booking with one or more boxes, they charge an extra fee per night.

The hosts were warm, funny, entertaining, and genuinely interested in their guests. They served a delicious breakfast in their dining room with the other guests, and clearly love hosting people. Our room was quiet, beautiful, and clean, with a small veranda. The hosts were exceptionally friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.
