Denis was the perfect host 🌞👏. We had great views and a delicious breakfast, and the location was just right for visiting D-Day beaches and museums. We stayed two nights. Perfect!

After thinking it over, I decided to write this review. My wife and I wanted to stay here, but something went wrong with Booking, so we called Denis. To be sure we understood each other, I had my French-speaking companion translate. We spoke two or three months before our holiday and needed a large ground-floor room with a terrace. Denis agreed that we could pay in cash without prepaying. But when we arrived, the widows said that room wasn't available and gave us the smallest room in the hotel. It seems some people's word doesn't mean much when other prospects come along. Live and learn.

The location made it easy to reach Utah beach and Omaha beach. We only stayed one night, but we'll definitely return. The place was amazing, super clean, and the bathtub in the shells room was out of this world. Breakfast was probably our favorite of the trip. My wife says they had the best croissant we ate anywhere, even compared with the ones in Paris.

We chose this spot for its position between Omaha beach and Utah beach, as we wanted to visit both for the D-Day anniversary. The view from our suite was beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and our host was always ready to help translate since we don't speak French. Restaurants nearby were an easy 10-15 minute walk. We had no complaints.
