The pizzeria right next door was handy after a long day, and the house itself has a lovely courtyard. Beauval Zoo is about a 15-minute drive away, with the route bringing you in on the side without traffic, which saves a lot of time in the morning. The owner was very pleasant. Rooms are plain but clean, and breakfast was sufficient, though cheese was the only savory choice. Prices are reasonable. One to remember.
Breakfast was perfect, and the house is very pretty. In the bedroom, the seagrass floor is awful to walk on barefoot. There’s just one clothes rack, so a small chest of drawers would help. The bathroom has no door, and there are no shutters or proper double curtains.
After a day of walking, the rooms are simple and comfortable enough for a good rest. The staff are very welcoming, and the place is pleasant. It’s about 15 minutes from Bauval, and there’s a pizzeria right next door if you want to eat there.
