We were glad to see on Facebook that the restaurant had reopened, so we booked a table after missing out three times over the winter when it was meant to be open. Sadly, the meal was a real letdown. The staff were kind and even seemed sorry about the food, but nothing tasted fresh. The rice was so bland and cheap that I left mine, and the woman at the next table did too. My beef pavé was tough and poor quality, with no sauce, and the apple tart was soggy. The sorbets were okay. This used to be our favourite restaurant, with inventive dishes made from local ingredients, a good wine list, and an excellent whiskey selection. Those are all gone, but the prices haven't changed. We won't return unless the ingredients improve or the prices come down. What a shame.

We came here twice and had a great meal both times. Lovely setting, and the staff were really friendly.

For what you get, it's expensive.

The meal was superb, each dish carefully made with real finesse and a treat to eat. We also got a warm welcome from the pleasant staff, and the owner paid close attention to his customers. Wishing you all the best, it's well worth a visit.

Vegetarians and vegans should feel very welcome here. If you're coming with a big group, give them a heads-up beforehand so there are no surprises. The staff are happy to speak English if needed, and the service is efficient and professional without losing the cosy, intimate feel. The welcome is lovely too. We had very good drinks and appetizers, followed by a generous main course that was still excellent quality. Dessert was very good as well. The dishes also looked great and photographed well.
