The room was dusty and nothing like the photos. The airco was so loud that we couldn't sleep, but when we asked, the receptionist advised us to turn it off even though it was 30 degrees. An absolute NO GO. Skip this hotel.

Breakfast was good, but the hotel felt rather run down and its restaurant was closed. The shower tray was cracked, the basin tap had been damaged by overly abrasive cleaning, and the curtains didn't meet.

L'Alambic restaurant was excellent, and we were made very welcome with our dogs. We had a nice room with a balcony and useful air conditioning on a very hot night. The hotel is just outside the village center.

We had the lunch set menu in a lovely place to stop and recharge. The starter was terrine and salad, followed by a chicken brochette, and there was a great choice of desserts. The price wasn't bad either. Excellent menu and flawless service.

The room was bigger than most hotel rooms in Europe, and restaurants and shops were an easy walk away. Nice property, with very nice people at the front desk.
