The building dates back to the 14th century, so the floors are slanted, but it’s recently renovated and our room was less than a year old. The hotel has loads of charm, and the owners are absolutely delightful. We had a split-level quad room with great Wi-Fi, good beds, and a new bathroom. For the low prices, it’s a huge value. The previous review is completely the opposite of our experience.

It had a great Christmas feel, with lovely people and very clean rooms. It seems to be a family-run hotel, and they offer the essence of French hospitality in a central location. There’s a room for five if you’re traveling with a bigger group. Around Christmas, there’s a Christmas market as well as some shops nearby. Strasbourg is only a 25-minute drive away.

The rooms are small, but really comfortable. The family running this hotel would go out of their way to help you, and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was lovely too. I’d strongly recommend staying here.

The location is perfect and the staff are very nice, except for the owner. He didn’t seem ready to deal with guests and got upset when I couldn’t understand where the parking was. Thankfully, other staff members arrived and helped me. The rooms are small, tired, and in need of renewal.

I didn’t stay here, but stopped to use the restroom because I’m five months pregnant. The owner and another staff member followed me outside, yelling and being extremely rude. I was flabbergasted and almost in tears at how insensitive they were. With so many other options in Alsace, I’d definitely look elsewhere.
