Marcel and Karin made us feel right at home. Their lovely home and top-level apartment had so many warm touches, and they had everything ready when we arrived tired after hiking from Nothweiler and visiting five castles. Their welcome was so gracious. The castle-to-castle hike over two days is well worth doing, and Chambres d'Hotes Petit Arnsbourg is a wonderful, relaxing place to stop overnight. It felt like home.

We came into Obersteinbach late after two days hiking in the beautiful area, exhausted and expecting to sleep in a tent at a campsite. We hadn't found anywhere to buy food either, so we had no energy, dinner, or place to sleep. Karin and Marcel came to our rescue with a warm welcome. They're such a friendly, open couple. They made us a simple but delicious meal and kindly found an alternative sleeping arrangement for our dog Mila. We left with full stomachs, big smiles, and lots of inspiration. Highly recommend them. I'd love to return, maybe in autumn when the new guestroom with sauna is finished. Our evening turned out completely differently than expected, and it couldn't have worked out better. Lucky us, and thanks again, Marcel and Karin!
