U Muzzelo

Claire, Dumè, Jazz, and Joie made us feel at home straight away. Our apartment had all the comforts we needed, everything was thought through down to the smallest detail, and it was exceptionally clean. The pool was right outside our view, and we also enjoyed the company of their sweet, loving dog Gioia and friendly hunting dog Jazz when he happened to be around. We stayed for two nights with our girls and had such a good time we wished we could extend the stay. We’d planned the trip at the last minute, so we made do with those two lovely days. We’ll definitely be back :)

We loved exploring the hiking trails from U Muzello and taking in the Saint-François Convent. The property is ideally placed on the road between the picturesque village of Oletta and Saint-Florent, yet it feels peaceful and green. Stone walls, olive trees, holm oaks, local shrubs, and the swimming pool all add to its charm. The house is beautifully decorated and well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. The owners welcomed us warmly. They’re friendly and genuine, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly love sharing the place and connecting with people. Claire and Dume were delightful and took such good care of us. The room was spotless, and breakfast was a real treat, delicious and made with fresh products.

The breakfast was amazing, especially the brioche 🥰, and our room was lovely and so peaceful. Claire and Dumè had great suggestions for places to visit, and they were wonderful hosts. We really loved them and appreciated all their help and support. We spent a magical week there, just five minutes from St. Florent and half an hour from Bastia. We’ll definitely be back, so go for it!
