Chateau De Chantelauze

The setting feels like something out of a historical film, and the rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Christian and Corine welcomed us so warmly that we quickly felt like friends. Everything is peaceful, beautiful and well cared for. The breakfast was delicious. A truly magical place.

We spent a week here and loved the beautiful room and the castle’s stunning decor. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Be sure to enjoy the excellent, generous breakfast and the tour of the grounds organized by the owner.

The medieval room is beautiful, and the whole property is wonderfully peaceful. Ask Christian to feed the monkeys at breakfast, curiosity can lead to something unexpected here. Coming from Brittany, Switzerland, stopping at this castle perched on its rock felt like stepping into another time. The magic comes from both the castle and its owners. One story opens onto another, and the past seems to light the way ahead. I left this haven having made a journey beyond time, already imagining my next destination and another triangulation to bring me back to Chantelauze.

We spent a heavenly weekend here, relaxing by the jacuzzi or the pool. The medieval room felt out of time and was very clean. The castle sits in a sublime setting, and Corinne, the owner, was kind. A lovely person to meet. Don’t hesitate to book this magnificent place.
