In August 2025, even during peak season, the beach was quiet, with few people. It was close to the cottages and had fine white sand, clear water that gets deeper gradually, and a beach bar. The cottage was comfortable, with a separate toilet, a roomy bathroom counter, and a superb shower. They left welcome biscuits, and the patio was lovely for evenings looking out to sea. A local bakery brought bread and pastries each morning at about 8:30 a.m. There are other quiet beaches in the area and supermarkets nearby, plus good Wi-Fi, laundry machines, and a tidy waste area. The hospitality was adequate. Highly recommended.

We've been renting the same house here for years, and it really does feel almost like home. The owner is so welcoming. It's easy to explore the region from this quiet residence, with plenty of places to visit and excellent restaurants around. Our house has a terrace looking over the Gulf of Valinco and a small barbecue, and the residence has a laundry room with a washer, dryer, and detergent and fabric softener dispensers. The pristine, nearly empty beach is just a two-minute walk away.

It's a great spot for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The welcome was very friendly, and the cottages are lovely, each with a roomy terrace and small barbecue. The property is gated, with a magnificent view of the gulf, and a pretty, quiet beach just two minutes away, used only by residents and guests of the neighboring hotel. There's a handy laundry room with a washing machine, especially if you're traveling light or flying. The location works well for visiting the Valinco region, and Bonifacio is an hour away. The one small downside is no air conditioning, so sleeping in the intense heat was difficult. Everything else made up for it, and I'd highly recommend it.

The view is magnificent, and that's clearly what you're paying for. The rest wasn't up to much for the price. We had two houses, each with a €70 cleaning charge, but they weren't cleaned. The furniture, decor, and appliances looked like they were from the 90s. There was no air conditioning, and the fan didn't work. I had a plug-in hybrid and paid €2.50 to recharge it, but the manager cut the electricity without warning, apparently because we'd blown the fuses. There was no consideration for whether someone had a child using breathing equipment or anything else, and the old refrigerators in the houses use much more energy. On departure day everything was fine when we handed over the keys, but a week later we were called and told a gate fob was missing. I think there was some bad faith there. Corsica is magnificent, but we did leave disappointed.
