Francado doesn’t have much going on, which suited us fine. The hotel itself was a great find, with friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms in a wicked location. It’s a short walk from the train station, or just off the main road if you’re driving.

The surroundings were beautiful, and there was access to the pool plus a room with a bar, fridge, and dishes. Everything was excellent. The breakfasts were generous and made with local products, served by Anaïs, who was very welcoming and helpful. We also had a warm, friendly welcome. The room, bedding, and bathroom were all impeccable. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast, an easy 10/10.

The property is a little far from everything. For shopping or a meal, you need to take public transport to Corte, which has plenty of restaurants. Still, it’s a good base for the Scala di Santa Regina Gorges, and you can also get to the Restonica Valley and the Asco Valley. I liked the place, with a pool in the center, mountain views from the room, and covered parking for motorcycles. The owner was very kind.

We left after two nights very happy with our stay. The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was generous. The place is very well appointed, and we were welcomed so warmly. Anaïs, thank you for your discretion and lovely smile. Merci! 😋

The host was very helpful, and the breakfasts were generous. We loved the view of the river and could cool off in the pool. Our cabin at La Dodolela was superbly maintained, and we had a superb stay.
