The house was old and rustic, and the windows didn’t shut properly. There were lots of bugs inside, including spiders, and cleanliness was only fair. We brought our dog, who got fleas, so we ended up traveling with them until we could treat him. Be careful with your booking. We had reserved through Booking.com for the day we arrived, but the owner gave our room to people who got there before us. He hadn’t checked the reservation names and wouldn’t ask them to leave because they were already asleep. With nowhere else available and nowhere for us to sleep, we had to share the house, and some very kind women let us use a room. The owner speaks English and French and switches between them as needed. In reply to the owner, please make sure you check your guests’ bookings next time. My date was right, and the mistake was yours.

We were desperate for a room and called the owner at short notice. He responded quickly and was so warm and accommodating. We felt more than welcome. Thank you, it meant a lot 🙏 See you soon!

What a curious and beautiful place, one of the loveliest I’ve ever seen. The little house sits in idyllic surroundings, with a perfect bathtub and friendly animals all around: goats, chickens, cats, dogs and horses. The owners were nice and interesting, and we enjoyed a good dinner with French wine from Bordeaux. Magnifique 🥰

Quietly tucked into nature, it’s a very pleasant place to stop. The host was welcoming and helpful, and the stay has left us wanting to return. I recommend it.
