Logis Hôtel Le Glacier

Our club room had a big bed and a handy little kitchenette and settee, and the hotel is in a great spot. It’s dog friendly, with a few small grass patches outside for breaks, and the area felt safe and secure. We used the public parking in front, at €1 per hour during business hours, so there was no overnight charge. The bar shut at 7pm for winter hours, but we found plenty of nearby restaurants. The mattress was harder than we like.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, with homemade and local products, and the staff were great. The hotel was clean, with quirky, chic decor and a good restaurant. It’s on a tree-lined boulevard, so it’s quiet, yet only five minutes from the amphitheater. Incredible location.

Run by a family, this cosy hotel sits right in the historic Roman city of Orange. Our room faced the backyard and was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. There’s a French breakfast buffet and the price is excellent for what you get. Plenty of parking right in front, with open-air diners and bats right next door. Everything was spot on!

We were above a boulangerie, so there was no view, but we could smell the baking during the night. The bed was comfortable, though I didn’t like the crinkly seersucker-style bedding and would have preferred something smooth. A good spot for an overnight stay, although public parking is very limited.
