The meal was the big surprise, simply outstanding, and the service was very friendly too. Our room was small but adequate, with a really comfortable bed. From the outside, the hotel doesn’t look like it reflects the quality inside. A real hidden gem.

Dinner was excellent, served in a lush garden beneath an old, shady grapevine. The menu has a great selection of local dishes made with fresh seasonal produce, and the service is friendly. The unpretentious hotel sits among vineyards, and its restaurant has also been recognised by the Michelin guide.

The peaceful, picturesque surroundings are lovely, and the restaurant is outstanding. Michelin Plate 2023 is fully deserved. Try a meat dish and the apricot dessert.
