Mas Julien

The host made us feel at ease right away. Valere is welcoming, genuinely interested, full of useful tips, and still gives you all the space you need. The place itself is spacious, peaceful, and clearly well cared for by the owner. We enjoyed the large pool and the whole garden, with seating areas everywhere. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotless, with every detail considered. Breakfast was delicious, and there’s a self-service bar with coffee, wine, soft drinks, plus the option to cook something yourself. We’d love to return. A real hidden gem and highly recommended.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and each one has its own look. There’s also a lodge you can rent, and breakfast is extensive. Hospitality and authenticity really mean something here. If you want advice on what to visit, just ask Valère, the host. He’ll make you feel more than welcome. A beautiful place you’ll want to come back to.

Only a few minutes from Orange and the highway, Mas Julien feels like a true oasis with everything you could want from a beautiful B&B. Valere’s hospitality is excellent, like settling into a warm, cosy embrace. He takes care of every detail all by himself. I highly recommend it!

The area is best explored with your own car, since taxis and ride shares are hard to find, but we couldn’t fault Le Mas Julien. Valere had gone out of his way to leave recommendations he thought we’d enjoy, based on our earlier conversations. He was away during our stay, and his mother looked after us wonderfully. She was an absolute treat to get to know. Breakfast was amazing and the location was so peaceful. Merci!!
