Park Inn By Radisson Orange Hotel

A good place to stop off by the motorway, with easy parking and even EV charging. The restaurant was good, and the service was excellent, prompt and friendly. If you're having breakfast, don’t be late, since they pack it away before the advertised closing time.

We stayed in February, which is a quiet time, and the room was cozy and well priced. The bedding and amenities were excellent, with the quality of a much more expensive hotel. The staff were especially hospitable. I forget the name of the British gentleman in the restaurant, but he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly to me and my young son. Reception staff were excellent too. Highly recommend.

This isn't a four-star hotel. The place feels tired and run-down, and the rooms are small. It needs a full refurbishment. The windows don't close properly, and there isn't even a basic coffee or tea setup in the room. The lift only goes to a half landing, so you have to carry luggage down stairs or wheel it along a ramp while walking up or down the stairs. The food options are very poor. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and for the price it's very bad value.

The Mercure Orange is always a pleasant place to stay, with plenty of free, secure parking. It's only two minutes from the Autoroute and an easy, flat, straight 10-15 minute walk into Orange center. The staff are always friendly and professional, the rooms spotless, and the beds very comfortable. We didn't eat at the restaurant this time, but it's always been good when we have.
