Ferme Schrutt-Tisserand

The one thing that could be better is the double bed, since its base and mattress are worn out. If those were replaced, the place would be perfect. We rented the two bedroom cottage, with twin beds in one room, which worked well for the children. The accommodation is very spacious, and the kitchen and laundry are exceptionally well equipped. They even provided dishwasher tablets and washing detergent, along with loads of dishes and all the household appliances we might need. All the linens were included, with towels and dish towels, and the beds were made up for us before we arrived. That’s rare and precious for us. There was also a jar of homemade jam and farm eggs waiting in the fridge, a lovely touch. On the landing, there were games, magazines, comics, and board games for gloomy weather. We spent a relaxing week at the Schrutt-Tisserand farm, enjoying the nearby ski slopes and pretty Alsatian villages. At the farm, we watched the cows being milked and tried some delicious cheeses. We’ll be back!
