Gîte Les 4 Saisons

We spent two nights in the apartment for four. It was clean and cozy, and felt like home. We could bring our dog without any trouble, which was a real plus. Up on the hill, the gîte is so quiet that it feels like you're alone in the world, in a good way. The Lac Blanc is less than 15mins away by car, so the location worked very well for us. The owners were polite, discreet, and attentive. We recommend this gîte without hesitation. Thank you!

The comfortable bedding, good location, lovely view, and very clean accommodation were definite pluses during our three nights in the one-bedroom apartment. The kitchen had enough equipment, though the bathroom was so-so. Our place felt a little impersonal, and there was quite a bit of overlooking by other residents walking past, at least for this apartment. The manager wasn't very talkative, but he let us park in his lot while we went hiking. Even after a minor complaint, he agreed to turn on the heating because of the autumn temperatures in the middle of July. ^^' I wouldn't personally return, though it might suit a winter sports holiday.

The house isn't soundproof, and there were mildew stains on some of the tile grout and shower. Still, the room was nice for the price, simple and clean, with everything we needed. The kitchenette was very well equipped. The location in nature is lovely, with a magnificent panorama of the Vosges Mountains.

I've now stayed at the Gîte Les 4 Saisons in both winter and summer. On my return in summer, I found the studio clean and good value for money. I booked directly on the owner's website. Getting there is a little difficult, but it's guaranteed to be peaceful. The online guide, with arrival details, shops, walks, and more, is well designed. The owner is discreet. I recommend it.
