The owner responded to our requests, and the cottage is well placed for exploring Alsace. One issue was the sheltered terrace: it keeps natural light out of the living room, so we needed artificial lighting all the time. The room might also feel more open with a different layout. We loved our two nights in the lumberjack's caravan. The setting is gorgeous, green, and peaceful. You can hear a little traffic, but it didn't take away from the experience. Pascal was friendly, available, and attentive, and we were amazed by everything he'd built himself. Be sure to see the witch's cabin, home to a magnificent wood-fired sauna. We also had a barbecue at sunset, a lovely way to finish our few days in Alsace. There are beautiful villages to visit and wonderful walks nearby, enough to keep you busy for days or even weeks. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back on our next trip to Alsace.

The house was comfortable and well equipped, with two lovely bedrooms, and the host was welcoming. Its location made it perfect for exploring the beautiful Alsace region. We had a very pleasant, refreshing holiday.

Mr. Masson was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated how well equipped the place was. The caravan was a special spot for children, and my son loved it. With places to visit and hiking trails close by, there's plenty to do. It was hard to leave this magnificent, unique place, and we'd gladly come back. A big thank you to Mr. Masson for the stay. The owner was very welcoming and always ready to help. The cottage is comfortable and ideally placed for visiting historic villages, with lovely walks nearby too.
