Apartment in 3 Vallees With Pool & Sauna

The spa and the views are beautiful, but it was quite dusty and dirty inside.

The worst part was the service. The receptionist was very rude, shouting at guests and acting as if she was annoyed they had come at all. The property is also very old, with old, broken equipment, and the WiFi barely works. You have to take a ski bus to the gondola, and the only shop nearby is the hotel shop, where prices are very high. We were charged a final cleaning fee on arrival, and €400 was blocked on our card as a deposit. It wasn’t returned at checkout, and no one checked the room with us there. After we waited two weeks, €100 was suddenly taken from the card without any notice or our authorization. We’d already paid for final cleaning and left the apartment in very good condition: we washed and put away the dishes, cleaned the kitchen and fridge, took out all the rubbish, folded the blankets and pillows, and covered the bed with the bedspread. This is absurd and plain theft. I don’t recommend this place at all. Stay away, I wouldn’t recommend it even to an enemy.

Some of the staff were kind and helpful, but the receptionist in particular was unbearable. She treated and spoke to guests like garbage, and was aggressive, rude, and nasty all the time. That behaviour is unacceptable anywhere people stay, and even if everything else had been perfect, I still wouldn’t return. It’s a shame, because there were some helpful staff too. The rooms were exceptionally small and not very clean. Guests are expected to clean up for whoever comes next, but they’re given nothing to do it with, not even a mop. That makes the cleanliness questionable and the whole setup outrageous. The ski bus was badly overcrowded. A few times I could only get on the third bus, and even then it was packed. Also, you need a swimming cap to enter the sauna, not the pool, the sauna. Good luck not having a stroke. Just don’t go here.

The pool water was very cold and there were repeated problems with dirt. Most ridiculous of all, €120 was taken from our deposit after we left, supposedly because we had left a mess. The residence staff were very unpleasant. Our apartment was fairly dirty, and for three days one of the windows had no glass, just duct tape in its place. The building is old, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t clean between guests. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
