Les Terrasses de l'Aven

The owner confirmed our full-board booking three days before we arrived for a business trip. Yet when we got there Monday at lunchtime, everything was closed, and it was still the same that evening after work. Avoid this place.

We only ate at this little hotel and restaurant, so I can't speak to the rooms. The dishes use fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, and the staff were friendly and attentive. There's nice parking too. I recommend it.

We couldn't visit the caves because of our dog, a Swiss White Shepherd who is difficult to handle, so we stopped for a meal instead. The food was simply perfect for quality and value, which is rare these days. The waitress was very kind, and the owner was very friendly. Our dog was welcome, and we could charge our car at the station right across from the restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

The room's partition wall was so noisy that we could hear the TV and conversations next door, and children played in the hallway late into the night. Breakfast was minimal and served in a dark back room. We had booked one night with dinner, but on arrival they casually told us there was no cook and no meal, so we had to find another restaurant. Avoid this place.
