Breakfast was standard, and the hotel’s location was good, with self check-in available. But our room was nothing like the pictures: tiny, up in the attic, and the heating only worked above the entrance door. The shower had no separation, so there was no privacy if you weren’t alone. The bed linen was torn and had holes.

The location in the city’s car-free area was great, and the hotel onboarding went very smoothly. Our room was small, but clean and cosy. The lobby was nicely decorated, and breakfast was good.

The price was very appealing, and breakfast was included, so the value felt excellent. I was also surprised by how peaceful it was, with no traffic or other noise. The room was charming and spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. It’s a nice base for walking the streets and finding restaurants all around.

We weren’t sure what to expect without a reception desk, but it worked out really well. The place is pretty, quiet, and clean, and the self-service breakfast feels pleasantly homey.
