Modern Studio - 2P - Orly

The leak on our second night turned into a mess: dirty, sewage-smelling water came from behind a locked door and into the bedroom. We had to gather our things quickly and move them away from the biohazardous water. Management never responded, so after 24 hours of waiting while the foul water kept leaking into the bedroom, we finally left. The apartment sleeps four, though there was barely enough cutlery for two. Bring iced tea, since the electric kettle seemed to be on strike. The layout also means a lot of trips up and down the stairs. Upstairs, the washroom has only a toilet; downstairs, the other one has a sink. The first night came with an hour of high-pitched alarm noise. The WiFi didn’t work, either, so it’s a good place to unplug if that’s what you want. From the master bedroom, the view through the grating felt like looking out from the Bastille. We stayed two nights at Belvilla France in Orly, and the second night brought a pretty grim reminder of the days before Paris had sanitary waterways.
