The courtyard was slippery, covered with leaves, and poorly maintained. Inside, the apartment had a very unpleasant musty smell, and the bathroom sink cabinet stank, with rusty hinges. There was a lot of dust under the bed, and I had to clean the bed frame myself before making it. The place was filthy, especially the kitchen and bedroom. The furniture and extractor fan were sticky, and the coffee maker was too dirty to use. The reviews I saw on booking sites seemed much too lenient compared with my unfortunate stay.

We were very disappointed with the rental. We had booked an apartment and clearly said we needed it to be accessible for people with reduced mobility (PRM). To our surprise, 15 steps led up from the parking lot, and parking at ground level wasn't allowed for our rental. Inside, wheelchairs couldn't fit through the doorways. There was also a step to get into the bathroom, toilet, and one bedroom, as well as a step in the shower, and so on. Despite all these problems with access to the apartment, our group of disabled people had an excellent weekend in Ornans. Sincerely

The location is good, and the cottage itself is lovely. The property could use more care, though. We had to wash the dishes again.

We ended up cancelling because the place didn’t match the description at all. The listing was misleading, and we were very disappointed.
