The little wine village has plenty to offer, with an excellent butcher and baker an easy walk away. We also enjoyed the wineries, including Albert Ziegler and Züsslein. Vineyards are just a five-minute walk, and the mountains or scenic villages along the Alsace Wine Route take about 20-30 minutes by car. Our stay was lovely. Francoise welcomed us with Crémant and showed us around the house and area. It’s quiet, cozy, spotless, and tastefully furnished with lots of wood. You can tell the owners know what they’re doing. Their apartment is at the back, and the small garden and big covered terrace give you plenty of privacy. The house sits on the edge of Orschwihr, and we felt right at home. We’d gladly return!
