We’d definitely come back and recommend it. It’s a handy place to stop, just off the périphérique and convenient for continuing by motorway. There’s a gated car park, the prices for both the hotel and restaurant are very good, and the restaurant has a menu to suit all tastes. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is conveniently close to the main route, shops and restaurants, and the bedroom was comfortable with a nice bed and bathroom. We stayed just one night on the way to St Malo. There’s no lift to the bedrooms, and the bathroom had only one soap, shower gel and shampoo dispenser, placed inside the shower.

I paid 137€ for two nights, with breakfast not included. The air conditioning was dripping. I asked the receptionist to check it, but when I got back, nothing had changed. That left me with a bad impression of the place.

I’m still wondering why they took 50 euros from us but apparently not from others. For one night, they wanted either 50 euros or my ID card, and I wasn’t allowed to give them a copy of my own card. They said it was to make sure we didn’t damage the room. They returned the money the next morning, after we waited half an hour, but still...

We were looking for two rooms on Christmas Eve, somewhere simple and nice to sleep and have breakfast the next morning. This hotel was just what we needed.
