B&B Hotel Cergy Pierrelaye

The room beside the stairs was so noisy that I could hear everyone and everything. The towels were dirty and smelly, and the shower leaked all over. Breakfast was awful: at 7:30 on the first morning there was almost nothing, not even coffee or tea. There were three people working, but barely one croissant, and the fruit salad seemed old or simply inedible.

A quiet spot, about ten minutes from the local station. It's a typical Ibis budget, with a clean room, a decent shower, a comfortable mattress, and a TV.

We could hear people talking in other rooms, and the people there were really rude. Someone in the next room knocked on the wall 7-8 times overnight for no clear reason. The receptionist was rude too and acted like they didn't understand English. They changed our room instead of cancelling the reservation, then when we came back five minutes later to use the restroom, they said we'd already checked out and would have to pay for another room. A terrible experience.

The rooms were clean and nice, with AC, and the staff were friendly. There's a pleasant little breakfast area too. I mostly used the hotel for day trips to Paris, around an hour away by train from Cergy, with a direct connection from Cergy saint-Christophe into the city. Good value for what you pay.
