The mattress was worn out and left me with terrible back pain. The shower head was fixed overhead, which made rinsing off awkward. There was no breakfast, and the price didn’t match the quality. It was a very dark basement apartment in a converted cellar, with an overgrown, cluttered entrance area. The next day I was given a suite in a new villa for €60!

A simple thank-you hardly feels enough for the welcome and connection I experienced. My week at "l'Atelière" was a delight, with its spacious, unusual setting, warm atmosphere, and all the little thoughtful touches.
