It was beautifully peaceful when we visited in autumn, the quiet season, and we had the whole place to ourselves. There's a pool, though it was too cold for us to swim. You can get white wine made at the château, and order a local meal to warm up later at your cottage. It's pleasant local food, just don't expect fine dining. Dogs are allowed, which was a big plus for us. The location makes a handy stop when driving north or south through France, since it's not far off the route. One night works, but two gives you more time to relax here. We really liked it and would recommend it to others. Hope to come back!
