Le Petit Château de Conteville

Make sure you have breakfast here. The whole château is available to the family, so there are lovely rooms to unwind in as well as the garden. It’s incredibly peaceful, and I can see it staying one of my favorite homes away from home. The welcome to the holiday couldn’t have been better. The place is amazing, personal, and beautifully decorated, with a careful, high-standard renovation.

The hosts really care about giving guests a wonderful stay. They listen to feedback and are quick to make adjustments if something isn’t quite right. The setting is unbelievable, the team is great, and I always have a fantastic time at the Petit Chateau. My stays there are always dreamy, and the place has a refreshing energy that just hits different. Thanks for another wonderful visit!

Chef Paul made the meals a highlight, from elegant snacks to big feasts featuring local produce and vegetables from the chateau garden. One guest had a specific dietary restriction, and he made her delicious, beautifully presented options that never felt like an afterthought. A few of us were even jealous. Eva’s team also took care with the little things, including meal presentation, country chic decor, and thoughtfully planned outings into the surrounding town. Eva had made the planning easy and accommodating, so we expected to enjoy the chateau, but we were dazzled from arrival through departure. The ride out of Paris into the Normandy countryside was therapeutic in itself. I brought 12 women from the US and Germany for an international retreat. As a coach for busy, high-powered, growth-focused visionaries, I wanted a special place for the learning part of our Paris trip. Le Petit Chateau gave us space to unwind, daydream, and take part in some powerful teaching. We believe the surroundings played a big part in the breakthroughs we had together. It was hard to leave, and we’re already eager to return. If you want a high-end but unpretentious place for a restorative gathering, with five-star service that delights your guests, Le Petit Chateau is a great fit.

The beds were so good that I asked the owner what brand they were, because I wanted one myself. We felt at home throughout our yoga retreat, thanks in part to the lovely, welcoming team, and the food was delicious. Petit Chateau de Conteville is about a 20-minute walk from the sea, with wonderful views. I had a perfect stay and would happily come back anytime.
