We had to switch rooms because the first one was extremely cold. Since it was September and the heating wasn’t on, they offered us an electric heater. There was also a fire alarm during our stay. The staff member on duty was very nice, but guests weren’t sure what was happening, and I couldn’t tell whether anyone had checked that everyone was out of the building. The staff could use more training.

The bed linens and towels were clean, and that was about the only reassurance. I was worried about bedbugs and barely slept, though thankfully I didn’t find any. There were live spiders and tiny flying beetles in the room, dirty walls, and a shower part that kept falling onto the floor. I stayed only because it was pouring and there was nowhere else within a safe driving distance. This feels like a complete management failure: the cleaners either aren’t trained or aren’t given enough time, and maintenance has been neglected. My first and last stay with B&B Hotels! 🤮

We got to the hotel at 11:30, but check-in wouldn’t work, so we couldn’t pay and get a room. It was a hopeless situation in the middle of the night, and trying through booking didn’t help either. A couple of people couldn’t get into the hotel. AVOID THIS HOTEL, IT IS NOT RELIABLE.

We stopped here with a baby, and our host was so warm and welcoming, going out of their way to help us. The service was exceptional. I also had the best cup of tea I’ve ever tasted in France, and there was a cute little pug. Wonderful!

Booking and getting in were both easy. Seems like a good choice for a late-night stop.
