La Villa Estella

We’ll definitely come again. It’s a great place to stop on our regular drives to Spain and Portugal. The garden is well kept, with a pretty pool, and each room has its own terrace. Our room was lovely and comfortable, with a large, clean private bathroom. Despite arriving very late, Sandra and Steve welcomed us warmly and were understanding. It was quiet and relaxing, and breakfast was generous, with fresh food and freshly squeezed orange juice. The coffee was excellent too.

Our 3-year-old loved the mini-farm, especially seeing the pygmy goats and chickens and getting to feed them with Célia. There’s lots to do nearby, with the lake and ocean both close. At Villa Estella we had a wonderful stay, with a perfect welcome and a spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless Lin room. The homemade breakfast was a real treat. Big thanks to Sandra, Steve and their children. We’ll be back!

Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, all homemade. Guests can also use a shared dining room and kitchen, which is handy when you don’t want to eat out every time. Sandra and her husband were very welcoming and available if we needed anything. The place is beautiful, with a lovely pool, and the Lin room is spacious and tastefully decorated. Just a heads-up, it’s right beside the kitchen and can get a little noisy, so maybe not ideal for a lie-in! Haha

Sandra and Steve really think of the little things that help you feel at ease. The welcome was lovely, and the rooms and services were all impeccable. Breakfast is homemade, including jams, brioches and orange juice, and you can request delicious evening meals too. I’d recommend this guesthouse to friends and family.
