La Datiniere

The prices are very reasonable, and the facilities are excellent. John and Tracy were perfect hosts, a lovely English couple. My room was comfortable and the shower was great. The WiFi signal in the room was a bit weak, but I could still use it. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh eggs from their chickens, and they gave me a box to take home. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I need a room for a night or two.

A quaint old manor, with an accommodating British couple running the inn. It’s a good fit if you want an inexpensive stay in a grand old property. I was on my own but stayed in the family room, which had a double bed, a single bed and a crib, plus a private bathroom. The double bed felt very soft and a bit rickety, though I still got a decent night’s sleep. Breakfast was coffee, croissants, jellies, hard-boiled eggs and orange juice, plenty to get me going.

We’ll definitely book here again. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and knew the area and its evening entertainment well. Breakfast was a treat, with a nice range of fresh bakery items. A great place to stay and rest, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Tracey and John were superb hosts, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We both really enjoyed our two nights here, especially the great breakfast. We’d love to come back when we’re next in the area.
