B&B Hotel Perpignan Centre

This is just about the front desk, not the hotel itself. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helped me avoid the parking cost at the garage. That was worth 10 stars, not just 5. Huge thanks for the help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My stay was brief, but I had a pleasant time. The prices were good, the location was great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend it.

The hotel is well placed, with a park nearby and an easy route to the beach. We liked the room too, although the shower floor could’ve used a better clean. The TV wasn’t working, but the staff were cheerful and kind, and offered us breakfast for free. They were attentive whenever we needed anything, and extending our stay by one night was simple. Their warm welcome really helped us settle in during our arrival in the south.

The room had very good towels and bathrobes, and the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spotless, and the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was also a bright spot, with a light, airy dining room and a good range of breads, meats, and fresh fruit. The hotel is on Boulevard Wilson, across from a very good but expensive underground car park. The hotel gave no parking discount, although earlier reviews said it used to offer one. My front-facing room stayed in shade because of the tall Plane trees, and the dark fixtures and flooring made it feel gloomy. The corridors also had a constant drain smell, despite the place otherwise being clean. Reception staff were curt and not very helpful. There are two fairly steep steps at the entrance and no handrail. I had to pull my case up myself, though another guest quickly helped. When leaving, neither of the two young men at reception offered to help me down. My husband wanted to check an itemized bill before paying, but there didn't seem to be a way to get one. The bill was emailed shortly after we left, leaving little chance to ask about or review the charges. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for anyone with mobility difficulties.
