102 - Urban Opera Picasso

It was okay, with no major problems. The three-person room was really small, and the bathrooms weren't in great shape. The place feels more like a hotel than a social hostel. On the plus side, it's in a great spot in Montmartre, surrounded by cute cafés, bars and restaurants, with easy Metro access. Breakfast is nice and free.

We stayed one night, and the room was just the right size for what we needed. It's close to buses and the Metro, very clean, and the service was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the whole stay was easy. I'd definitely recommend it.

We found the place clean, with big windows and comfortable beds. If you can, I'd recommend getting an ensuite. At breakfast there aren't many vegan options, but you can get black coffee, bread rolls and jam. There are also two fantastic vegan boulangeries within a 10-minute walk. The locked luggage room was handy when we checked out. It's a reasonably priced hotel/hostel in one of Paris's prettiest areas, about a 30-minute walk from the Eurostar terminal, with boulangeries, pavement wine cafés and lovely streets near the sacre couer, plus good bars. A late evening wander up to the sacre couer is lovely when it's lit up and the daytime crowds are gone. We'll be back!

The room was compact, but it was cleaned every day, which I appreciated, and the hostel felt comfortable and well looked after. Breakfast came with the stay, though there wasn't much to choose from. For Paris, where prices are high, I thought it was good value.
