Hotel 29 Lepic

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a book in the room with some great places to visit and eat. The hotel was easy to find, with a metro line about a five-minute walk away and plenty of fairly priced shops nearby. For the price, it was very good, with all the basics we needed, including a hair dryer, shampoo, and shower gel. Really good hotel.

From the balcony I had a beautiful view of the city, and the room stayed cold. It was clean and spacious, with a bath where I could relax. The staff greeted me with a cold drink and showed me to my room. They were kind and made themselves easy to understand since I don’t speak much French. They also gave me directions for places to eat and shop, and the best way to travel, which was by metro. Before I arrived, the hotel communicated clearly and reassured me when I was worried about checking in late. I came from Australia to see Paris, and the team at hotel lepic really made that dream come true. Thank you!

The reception staff were kind, and the location in Montmarte was great. The room was decent and the bed was fine, but the floor on the second floor squeaked every time you walked around, which got quite annoying.

This charming hotel sits at the foot of hilly Monmartre, which is handy if you’re less energetic. There’s a fridge in the room, an Irish bar not far away, and gazillions of French cafe bars, Italian restaurants, shops, everything. Buses 40 and 80 stop at either end of the road, with single tickets at €2.50. The 40 goes to Sacre Coeur, while the 80 heads to the Tomb of Naploean and Eiffel tower area. It’s very French, with a lift to the premier doubles on the fifth floor and an amazing view of the road below. The tour de france came by on its last day, July 27, 2025, and we have video from our balcony that day.
