Absolute Paris République Hotel

The bathroom was far too small and wasn't clean enough, and the rooms were extremely cramped and poorly cleaned as well. The price doesn't match what you get. I'd only consider it as a last resort.

This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. I woke up in the night to find a little rat in the room and panicked. The woman at reception didn't seem bothered or try to help, just saying, “Well, you're in paris.” It took an hour to move us to another room, and nobody even apologized. Disgusting.

The reception staff were very friendly, and the location was decent. But the rooms were filthy. The cleaning service was a joke: they didn't even take out the trash or flush the toilet, and the bedding was disgusting. All three of us have pimples all over our bodies and are being treated for them now. The whole place felt gross, with barely any attention to cleanliness and no amenities. They only offer water, nearly 2 euros for a 300ml bottle.

The hotel is in a great spot, with restaurants, cafes, and the Metro close by, and the staff were friendly. The room was only okay, though, and hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a lot of hair on the mattress, and it looked very old. The sheets and towels were clean. The place could use some renovation. It feels neglected, and the design is terrible. I don't get why they used graffiti and let people write on the walls, it makes everything look dirty. Still, it's a good place for a short visit.
