The apartment was spotless and very central, and the bed was super comfortable. We were there in winter, so the lack of AC didn't bother us, though it could matter at another time of year. Nights can get a little loud, which you'd expect in such a central part of Paris, so bring earplugs. Great location, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Getting up the staircase with big suitcases could be a hassle, and you do need to pay a security deposit. Still, we had a good experience with a friendly host. The room was comfortable and had a lovely city view, and the location was great.

The hot water didn't work, the floor was filthy, and there was no staff around. When we asked for the supervisor's number, they gave us a strange one that turned out to be in Turkey. What made things worse was how we were handled after reporting bedbugs, something I wouldn't expect in a Western hotel. We spent a day and a half on the phone with the property staff and the third party we booked through. Eventually they let us leave, with no compensation, though they did waive the charge for the remaining nights.

The room was nice, and the hotel is right next to an ice cream shop. Just keep in mind there's no elevator, and room 5 is a very steep climb, so it's not a good fit if you're carrying lots of luggage.

The location is perfect, the room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. But there's no AC or even a fan, and on a hot summer day I just couldn't sleep. Opening the windows isn't much of a solution either, since this is a very busy, noisy area even at night.
