Adagio Paris 19e Cité de la Musique

We had a really nice stay at the aparthotel. The staff were friendly and polite, and the rooms had the kitchen basics we needed. It felt cozy and relaxed in winter, and the building has elevators too 😉 Getting around was easy: the tram is close, and Porte de Pantin metro station is about a five-minute walk away, with connections to the main sights.

My studio on the eighth floor was bright, clean, and looked out over the courtyard, with Paris rooftops visible when the sky was clear. The hallway was quiet too, which made it easy to work or relax without street noise. It felt like a comfortable home base, and the front desk team were friendly and quick to share useful tips. There was a false fire alarm one morning. The staff stayed calm, kept everyone informed, and sorted it out professionally, so it ended up being a small hiccup. I’d happily book again.

The room had the amenities I needed, and there’s a gym plus other facilities you can pay to use. Just note that they don’t clean the room for stays under eight days. I stayed three weeks and needed to leave my bag for two days, but they wouldn’t store it that long, apparently that isn’t their policy. The Wi-Fi was really bad. It’s open to everyone. Everything else was okay.

The neighborhood has a real local feel, with reasonable prices, and the transport connections are right nearby: metro, tram, and buses make it easy to get around Paris. A few steps away there’s La Tradition du Bon Pain for sweet and savory treats, a well-stocked supermarket, the lovely café Au Petit Pot, an Asian restaurant on the same little street, and a pizza takeaway. The place itself is quiet, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything feels new, comfortable, and spacious, and the big beds are so comfortable. The staff are warm, friendly, and efficient. I love Paris and can see myself returning here again and again. I don’t know why it isn’t rated even higher. We’ll definitely be back :)
