The apartment was roomy and close to the metro, which was convenient. But the sofa bed had been left open when we arrived, and it was difficult to fold back into a couch. Even then, it stayed slanted and wasn't comfortable to sit on. Service was really poor. We went to reception for soap, a sponge, and dishwashing liquid, and the woman there just said they didn't have any. The next night we found there was no wine opener in the kitchen. We took the bottle downstairs and asked the same receptionist, who was right by the bar, if we could borrow one. Again, she quickly said they didn't have one.

The rooms are spacious and bright, and they seem newly renovated, but there was already mold in the bathroom. Some of the receptionists gave me an intimidating, judgmental feeling from the way they looked at me. I ignored it and just focused on resting. The Asian receptionist was the one who felt approachable. She was helpful and smiled.

We arrived late, and the reception staff were very helpful. They brought us clean sheets and towels after we pointed out that the room hadn't been prepared: the sheets were unchanged, the bathroom bin was full, and wet towels were still hanging on the heater.

The automatic blackout shades were excellent, and the room itself was big and nice. There are two tiny balconies, if you're willing to use them. Shopping and a metro station are about an 8-10 minute walk away, with connections covering most of Paris. The couch had been left open as a second bed and wouldn't fold shut. I asked the front desk several times to deal with it and to give me another room key, but neither request was handled.
