Hotel Derby Eiffel

For €236 a night, I booked a Superior Double Room but was given Room 56, which was incredibly tiny. The supposed Eiffel Tower view only appeared if I leaned out of the window. On top of that, the elevator was out for two of our three nights and still hadn't been fixed by checkout. There are better options. Good luck.

The rooms are on the small side, though clean. We liked the beautiful breakfast, the friendly staff, and the great location.

The location is great and the staff are friendly, but this hotel hasn't kept up its former standard. I was there with friends in February 2026, after having stayed 12 years ago when it was a good hotel. I won't return. There's no hot water after 10 AM, and no room telephone in an emergency. The rooms are terribly small, yet they still use photos showing how the place looked years ago. This isn't a four-star hotel anymore, in my view it's three stars, probably downgraded. They should update the star rating online.

We had a really positive stay at Derby Eiffel Hotel. The location is excellent, with restaurants, a laundromat, supermarkets, and a pharmacy nearby. Our room was comfortable, clean, and a good size, with a great view of the Eiffel Tower right from the window. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. They never answered my emails, which was the one drawback, but everything was as booked once we arrived, so it caused no problems. There's no concierge, though the lobby has a spot to leave your bags if you get there before check-in. I definitely recommend it.
