Amadeus Hotel

The hotel is small and cosy, clean and well maintained, with a great spot near restaurants and the Metro. The friendly service is what really makes it stand out. Adel at the concierge, the cleaning staff, and everyone else went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. If you're expecting Ritz Carlton service, you'll need to pay Ritz Carlton prices. But for a clean place to sleep and have breakfast, with easy access around Paris and lovely staff, without spending a kidney, look no further. I think some negative reviews here come from people with unreasonable expectations.

I had a lovely two-day stay at Amadeus Hotel. The area is quiet and felt safe, and the hotel is near bus and train stations, which was a plus. The room was clean and cosy, and Adel, the morning host, was very friendly. The staff were accommodating, and the shower had both hot and cold water. There was a power cut around midnight on the first night. With no generator, it got hot, though the staff said it was the first time that had happened. Everything else was clean and perfect. I'd recommend it for a pleasant stay.

The receptionist gave us five different ways to reach the Palace of Versailles, including routes that passed more landmarks, and we were glad we asked. All the receptionists were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Metro stations, which made it easy to explore. Gare du Nord was 30 minutes away, the Louvre 18, and the Eiffel Tower 45. Each Metro ride cost 2.50 euros. You can hear the trains under the hotel, but we barely noticed them, and after a full day of walking we fell asleep straight away. My mom and I stayed at Hotel Amadeus last week, and it added to an amazing time in Paris. The room was very clean when we arrived, the sheets were clean and neatly tucked in, and the shower had good pressure. Breakfast had enough options, with delicious croissants, and we really liked the cappuccinos. When we got home, we kept talking about how nice the trip was and how happy we were with the hotel. I'd definitely come back if I visit again. It’s worth it :)

There are lots of Metro stops nearby, so getting around was easy. But every couple of minutes we could hear and feel the trains underground, and it made sleeping difficult. It was fine for a few nights, but I probably wouldn't stay there again because of the Metro noise.
