The people at the hotel made my two-day solo visit feel especially comfortable. They were warm every time I came by and readily arranged taxis or helped with other requests. Traveling alone, I really valued how attentive and safe I felt. Thank you Emilie, Filip, Elena, Rosine, Mario, Fred and Brahim for making a short trip so lovely. My suite was a surprise upgrade when I arrived. It had a gorgeous bathroom, a heavenly soaking tub, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Seeing the Eiffel Tower when I opened the windows was a memorable extra. The location was beautiful and convenient. The hotel has a modern, avant-garde look but still feels cozy and homey, with books on shelves among the thoughtful touches. I’d heard the hallways were dark, but they’re well lit and the color feels intentional. I believe renovations are underway, though I never heard any noise.

The restaurant was a highlight, with great food at both breakfast and dinner and superb wait staff. Nearby, Chez Savy on Rue Bayard is a lovely, very local spot for dinner, and Brasserue /L'Alsace is also just a short walk away and worth trying. I arrived on Jan. 7th in an unusual Paris snow storm. The hotel felt welcoming, and the attentive staff were a delight. My room was spotless and set up just as I’d asked. The new bathroom had great water pressure, plenty of storage, and easy temperature controls. It’s a charming, picturesque little hotel, conveniently placed for so many Paris attractions, all within a short walk. 5 Stars!

We stayed five nights in early January, and the suite, the white room, was stunning. Thanks, Filip. The hotel facilities were all very much appreciated. Its spot in the 8th arrondissement, around the midpoint of the Champs Elysees, made it easy to explore on foot, with the metro nearby too. The service really made the visit. Everyone, from reception to housekeeping and the restaurant/bar, was sincere, friendly, and went out of their way to help. Special thanks to Thom and Thibaut in the bar, and Filip, Marco, Fred and the rest of the front office team. We’ll definitely return on our next Paris trip. And I promise not to leave my mobile in a taxi again 😉. Thanks so much for the hospitality and a memorable stay. The Macphersons

For a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, it’s worth knowing that complimentary breakfast isn’t included here, and I didn’t feel my status brought much benefit. The location, though, is excellent: tucked just off the Champs-Élysées, it’s quiet, safe-feeling, and convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Staff were professional and flexible with requests. The property felt cramped for a five-star hotel. In my room, cleaning details were missed, and there were visible maintenance problems like broken hooks and doorknobs. The unusual room layout also made it awkward to get around. The location is superb, but the fixtures and upkeep need attention to meet five-star standards.

We stayed four nights in a second-floor room in the old building, and the location was the clear advantage. Major landmarks were within walking distance, and we felt safe coming back late. Breakfast was comped because of the inconveniences, but staff said no other room was available, even though we’re Marriott Titanium Elite members. The room looked partly renovated, including the bathroom, but ventilation was a problem. When we raised it the next morning, they provided an AC fan with a hose out the open bedroom window. At night, noise from people smoking on the patio downstairs, sometimes well past 1 AM, came up through that hose while the window was open. For a Marriott, the stay felt more like a motel. We stayed because of the location and short trip, but anyone prioritizing comfort might want to choose somewhere else. Do better, Marriott.
