I went to Parc Monceau at about 3:41 PM on a sunny day. It was bright but not too hot, and the air felt fresh and comfortable. Families were picnicking on the grass, with a playground for children and places to get ice cream, drinks, or snacks. There are public restrooms inside the park too. The open green spaces made it a lovely place to get away from the busy city. I saw older people walking quietly and couples embracing in the shade of the trees. It felt peaceful and relaxing, and seemed like a charming, well-kept spot for a stroll, a family outing, or just a break in Paris.

The ruins are a highlight, especially the water feature surrounded in part by Roman columns. Elsewhere in the park you'll find more ruins, including columns, stone gateways, and blocks. It's a great place to visit in Paris, and one of the most beautiful. Parc Monceau is a large park in the 8th, with plenty of trees, colorful plantings, paths, statues, and water features. The big black-and-gold gates at its many entrances are breathtaking. There are benches in sun and shade, grassy spots to sit, and areas for younger people to enjoy warm weather. Entry is free, and water fountains are scattered around.

A lovely spot to spend an afternoon sitting back and relaxing like a local. Parc Monceau has beautiful, fresh greenery, and the air feels amazing. You can hear birds singing and see ducks swimming. It has a real French feel, away from the usual tourist crowds. Highly recommend!

I had such a peaceful morning here. Couples were sharing romantic picnics, runners went around the outer edge, families fed the ducks, and tourists like me wandered around taking pictures and admiring the park. The weather was beautiful, but I bet the park would be lovely even in bad weather.

A beautiful little oasis for a walk, a run, or simply enjoying the scenery. This public park sits in the 8th arrondissement, right on the border with the 17th, and is a distinctive example of the Anglo-Chinese landscape style.
