Odeon metro is less than a five-minute walk away, which made it easy to reach different parts of Paris. The hotel itself has a charming atmosphere, and the rooms are compact without feeling too small. It's in a handy spot that isn't overly busy. Highly recommend.
We had the spacious Eiffel Tower Suite, with new bathrooms, and plenty of shops and restaurants in every direction. Breakfast was substantial and hot, and the staff were helpful. Luxembourg Gardens is a five-minute walk, Notre Dame about ten minutes, and the Louvre roughly 15-20 minutes away. Because of the steps at Odéon Metro, we mostly took buses for farther trips. One bus stop was right outside, another a block away, and Starbucks was also a block away.
We had a great stay. The hotel was clean and nice, with a spacious room and a large bathroom. It can get noisy if you open the window on the street side. I only wish they had water and coffee available in the breakfast area during the day and evening for guests.
Room 41 suited us perfectly. It had a great-sized bathroom, exceptional cleanliness, and windows that opened to let sunlight in. The air conditioning worked, and the staff were professional. We also saw room 62, where our friends stayed, tucked under the eaves. It was smaller and probably cheaper, better suited to one traveler. The location was excellent, with loads of cafes and restaurants just metres away and the Seine less than a ten-minute walk. Breakfast was fresh and served in peaceful, elegant surroundings. Hard to fault.
We really enjoyed the comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the neighborhood was just right for Paris, close to cafes, restaurants, and metro stops that got us around the city.
