Honestly, this is the best value accommodation you can find for what it offers. It's close to lots of bakeries, restaurants, metro, and other public transport. There's a kitchen, though you can really only make tea and coffee. It has a hob, but it looked like it might cause a fire or something. There was cutlery too. In our room there was a fridge, a closet type thing, a TV, and a microwave, though the TV and microwave didn't work. We didn't find any bed bugs, so I'd say that problem is fixed. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the beds are pretty good. One small issue was that we couldn't sleep because staff were talking and laughing at reception, both morning and night.

The beds were comfortable, and for this location the price was good. Street noise wasn't much of an issue. Since it's an old building it could get cold in winter, though there are heaters in the rooms. One important thing to know if you have a disability: there are no elevators.

The beds were surprisingly comfy, and even during peak tourist season we never had to wait for one of the five showers or the separate toilets. The place was clean, some soap was supplied, and the staff were so nice and clear about everything. I was really worried about bed bugs after seeing Google reviews from four months before our stay, but we were totally fine. They also kept our suitcases after checkout so we could go wander around. There are some nice breakfast spots nearby too. Just be ready for six floors and a climb. Great value and a happy surprise for us. The one real downside was the extremely slow Wi-Fi.

We paid €50 a night in the quiet winter season, which felt like a great deal. The building is old, but the beds were good and we saw no bedbugs. Rooms were cosy and charming, with a fridge and microwave, and the toilets and showers were in good shape with no queues. The staff were polite and friendly, and let us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout. It's also well placed, near the metro and a trendy area.
