B&B HOTEL Paris Porte de la Villette

The room was solid and cleaned daily, and for Paris the price was good for a reasonable room. Parking was included, with enough spaces, though getting down to floor -5 was a bit tight in my SUV. If you know your car, you can manage it. It would’ve been nice to get the access code before check-in. The surroundings aren’t great, but the police nationale is nearby.

Tanya was very helpful in giving us directions. Her service was friendly and professional, and we appreciate everything she did for us. We’ll come back.

We’re delighted with our stay and will come back. Breakfast was perfect, the staff were super friendly, and our room was cleaned and towels changed every day. It’s nine minutes from the metro, so you can reach downtown in 15 minutes.

The service was really poor, and when I complained at reception, they just said sorry and did nothing. The area felt horrible and unsafe, so we spent most of our time outside to avoid feeling uncomfortable. The room was small and smelled awful: it was beside the street, the window was locked, and the AC was leaking. The shower was blocked, and it smelled every time we used it. Housekeeping only straightened the bed and emptied the bin. They didn’t change the sheets or clean the floor. Parking was on levels -4 and -5, down a very narrow route, and smelled disgusting, like rubbish and something decomposing. I nearly vomited each time I went to get my car. It wasn’t pleasant at all.
