Hôtel Jardin de Cluny

Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a decent amount of space, tasteful design, and a warm, cosy feel. The hotel also has an eco-friendly focus, including sustainable bathroom products. I read in the brochure that unused breakfast items are donated to people in need, which is a lovely way to support the local community. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly, and so helpful. The hotel is on a peaceful street near Notre Dame, and we were only a few minutes from Notre Dame train station, on the direct RER B line from CDG airport. It made getting around simple, and the hotel was a lovely base for seeing the city. St-Germain is a short walk away, with busy streets full of bars, cafés, and restaurants. We stayed two nights in December and would happily return. Thanks for a wonderful break!

The room had loads of character, with charming decor and a cosy, stylish feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after walking nearly 20,000 steps a day, we were ready for a shower and sleep. There’s a water boiler for instant coffee, but no Nespresso machine. The only thing I’d change is the tub: it was slippery getting out, so a non-slip mat or grab bar would help. We wished we’d stayed longer than three days. Hôtel Jardin de Cluny quickly became one of our favorite parts of Paris. It’s close to the metro and within easy walking distance of Notre-Dame, the Panthéon, and Luxembourg Gardens. The hotel is near Saint-Germain and its lovely cafés and excellent restaurants, but the street itself is quiet, a nice balance. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful, and the breakfast room was lovely. For a small hotel, breakfast was excellent, fresh, well prepared, and satisfying. We were really impressed and would stay again without hesitation. I already miss the place and can’t wait to return to Paris. It’ll be our go-to hotel next time.

Anne was a wonderful welcome after our 12-hour flight. We arrived five hours before check-in, and she was kind, sincerely helpful, and clearly cared about guests. She got the room ready after a short two-hour wait while we had coffee nearby. The hotel feels new, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a cheerful, modern style and every bit of space carefully used. It’s on a very quiet road, two blocks from the metro. The room was a little small, as you’d expect in Paris, but the large hot rain shower and excellent amenities were great. The mattress and bedding were top quality and let us rest well after long days walking around town.

We spent six days at Hôtel Jardin de Cluny, and hearing the bell tower while walking to Maison d'Isabelle for our daily pastry was a highlight. Notre Dame is only seven minutes away, and though the hotel is right in the center of Paris, it’s tucked onto a quiet street. It’s a perfect base for wandering, which is such a big part of being in Paris. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and professional. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, breakfast was fresh and healthy, and the library was cosy. We especially liked the comfortable beds and the elegant warm lighting, which made the decor feel authentic and inviting. If you’re visiting Paris, stay here. It’ll make your trip better.
